How to enable the Site Kit integration
Do you need the newest insights into your site? Want data on your impressions, clicks, click-through-rate and position in search engine results? Yoast SEO now has an integration with Site Kit by Google! Your Yoast SEO Dashboard will work together with Site Kit to show your site’s SEO performance. In this article, we’ll explain how you can enable the Site Kit by Google integration.

How to enable the Site Kit integration
To enable the Site Kit integration, follow the steps below.
- In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Yoast SEO
- In the Yoast SEO Dashboard, go to the Site Kit installation
You automatically land on the Yoast SEO Dashboard, where you can find the Site Kit installation ready to go.
- Click Install Site Kit by Google
If Site Kit is already installed, please go to step 5 to continue.
- Click Activate Plugin
- Click Activate Site Kit
If you already installed and activated Site Kit, go to step 7.
- Set up your Site Kit account
If you run into problems, please consult the Installing and setting up Site Kit documentation.
- Click Set up Site Kit
If you’ve already installed, activated and set up Site Kit, go to step 9.
- Set up your Site Kit account
Connect to an already existing Google account, or set up a new one. If you run into problems, please consult the Installing and setting up Site Kit documentation.
- Click Connect Site Kit by Google
- Grant consent to connect Yoast SEO and Site Kit
- You’ve now successfully installed the Site Kit by Google integration
I don’t see the Site Kit integration
There are two reasons the Site Kit integration is not available to you.
If you see the notification above in your Dashboard, it means that you don’t have the right user role to install, activate and connect Site Kit. Ask your site administrator to install and activate the Site Kit by Google plugin instead.
If you don’t see this notification, go to Integrations in the Yoast SEO menu. If the Site Kit by Google integration is not visible, the integration is not yet available for you. We kindly ask for your patience as we slowly roll out this integration for all Yoast SEO customers.
I don’t want to enable the Site Kit integration
If you don’t want to start using the Site Kit integration, you can disable the integration request temporarily or permanently. In your Yoast SEO Dashboard, click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the Yoast SEO Site Kit by Google section. Click Remove until next visit or Remove permanently to hide the card from view.
