This makes it easier for headless WordPress sites to use Yoast SEO for their SEO meta output. In this article, we’ll explain how to disable or enable this feature in the Yoast SEO plugin.
How to disable or enable the REST API head endpoint
The REST API head endpoint feature is enabled by default. If you don’t want this API on your site, you can easily disable it by following the steps below.
- In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Yoast SEO
- Go to Settings
- Under APIs, switch the REST API endpoint Enable feature toggle
- Click Save changes
