How to disable the internal linking feature

Yoast SEO Premium includes an internal linking tool. This link suggestions feature is enabled by default. Follow these steps to disable or enable the internal linking feature.

1. Log in to your WordPress website.

   When you’re logged in, you will be in your ‘Dashboard’.

2. Click on ‘Yoast SEO’.

   On the left-hand side, you will see a menu. In that menu, click on ‘Yoast SEO’.
   

3. Click on ‘Settings’.

   The ‘Yoast SEO’ settings will expand, providing you with additional options. Click on ‘Settings’.
   

4. Scroll down to the ‘Site structure’ section on the ‘Site features’ settings page.

   You’ll automatically be on the ‘Site features’ settings in Yoast SEO. Scroll down to the ‘Site structure’ section.

5. Toggle the ‘Link suggestions’ switch.

   Find the ‘Link suggestions’ box. You can enable and disable the feature using the switch at the bottom of the box.
   
   

6. Click ‘Save changes’.
